hey anyone out there in computer land know where i could possibly locate some BAND, GRATEFUL DEAD, AND ALLMAN BROTHERS TAPES. it would be ideal if they were playing together (The date that is not at the same time...although that would be even more awesome). I've read about the sound check at watkins glenn back in 73, the 71 fillmore dates in february, and so on, but I can't seem to find anything reliable. I did however find possibly my favortie lovelight with the always amazing janis joplin (6-9-69, I believe thats the date) janis comes in around the 430 mark check it out.

And don't forget 7/16/72 Dillon Stadium in Hartford. Nice jams with Dickie Betts and Berry Oakley a couple of months before he died. Not to be missed! Berry was great!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot.12/31/73 Winterland. Jerry & Billy sat in with the Allmans for Mountain Jam and some other stuff. Bear dosed Butch Trucks and he had to turn the drums over to Billy K for a little while. Butch said the drums were floating away from him and he glanced over at Bear who had been trying to dose him and realized he had been gotten to with a squirt gun!

Hey Kidbear...Yup, 6/7/69's a great Lovelight, no doubt. Always loved Janis. Have you checked this one out yet? Janis & Pig doing Lovelight again, 7/16/70 at the Euphoria Ballroom, San Rafael...

Some wonderfully raunchy interplay between the Pearl & the Pig...enjoy.
